We successfully raised £142,000 for a new biopsy machine benefitting patients under the care of Doncaster and Bassetlaw’s Urology team. The machine became operational in 2021.
We have successfully raised £500,000 for a much needed second CT scanner at DRI, aiding early cancer detection and diagnosis and meeting the ever-increasing demand for CT scans for urgent and emergency patients.
DCDT built and equipped St John’s Hospice in 1992 after raising over £2 million. In recent years phase 2 has seen significant upgrades to facilities, with land secured for a future phase 3.
St John’s Hospice has since become a standalone charity but we still have a close working relationship with them.
We set out to raise £600,000 to purchase a state of the art CT Scanner, the first outside London.
The scanner became fully operational in early 2012 and is now working at full capacity in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Our sponsored Midsummer Walk is one of our most popular annual events.
This is kindly supported by Lions International.
Our annual Mile of Coins, supported by the Frenchgate Shopping Centre.
This annual event is still racking up the miles. That’s an awful lot of loose change!
Held in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre in the run up to Christmas, our Memory Tree lets friends and supporters exchange a donation for one of our memory tokens
Place them on your tree and remember loved ones over the festive period.
